In less than three and a half years, BYD’s Yuan PLUS has surpassed 1 million cumulative global sales.

Recently, the author learned from BYD Auto’s official announcement that the global cumulative sales of the BYD Yuan PLUS have now exceeded 1 million units. As a pure-electric compact SUV under BYD’s Dynasty series, the Yuan PLUS was first launched in February 2022—achieving the milestone of 0 to 1 million sales in less than three and a half years.

It is reported that the BYD Yuan PLUS (marketed overseas as the BYD ATTO 3) is not only available in the domestic market but has also entered multiple countries, including Sweden, the Philippines, and Brazil, making it BYD’s first passenger vehicle to go global. In March this year, the second-generation BYD Yuan PLUS Smart Driving Edition was officially launched, with an official guide price ranging from 115,800 to 145,800 yuan.
